Where we came from: This has been the most challenging model project to date. Starting with photographs and few documents with actual car data, we set our to creat a stellar series of models. All along the way information and photographs kept rolling in. With that information came contradictions from multiple "former" crediable sources from past modeling endeavors in other scales. The passing of a trustworthy friend, Dr. Richard Hendrickson, in the beginning stages of this project set this off on a long road. A.T. Kott came on board and assisted with the Stock car portion of the project. He had previously drawn the High Roofwalk tank car project which was a huge success some years ago. Where we are today: With the aid of a good friend Byron Rose, the Box car infomration has been sifted through, sorted and placed onto a accurate medium for our builder. As the finishing touches are applied, this page will be updated to keep you informed.

Mather Humane Stock Car Company Box Cars

The Model project will be divided into two parts. Box and stock cars first. Documented information in regards to actual inside car height for the short cars lists them betwen 7'8" and 7'10". Car width is noted as 8'5" to 8'6.5" It's a common belief that Mather cars were built with the close enough is good enough mentality.
